Architecture is a licensed profession,
requiring extensive training. The ten provincial associations of architects in Canada have adopted
a standardized
process for admission to the
profession known as the Internship
in Architecture Program (IAP). The
IAP (also called the Intern
Program) has three components:

candidate can apply for a license/registration to
practice architecture.
