Every legal entity that is registered and authorized to practice architecture in the Province of Manitoba will have a listing which includes the firm's name, address, telephone number, type of organization and principals of the firm who are responsible for the practice.
In addition, each registered architectural or joint architectural and engineering practice has been provided with the opportunity to include a brief firm profile and limited information concerning staff, special capabilities, areas of service and experience, typical commissions and awards. The information that has been included in these areas is that which has been provided by the firm. The MAA assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of any of this information. Some firms have chosen not to submit information in these categories and their profiles reflect their wishes.

Note: In accordance with The Architects Act in Manitoba, no one other than Registered Members of the Association may be involved in the ownership of a sole proprietorship that is authorized to practice architecture. However, the legislation does provide for limited ownership involvement of individuals other that architects within a corporate structure. While there may be individuals other than architects who are involved as directors or partners in a firm or corporation that is authorized to practice architecture in Manitoba, it is only the directors or partners (or full-time employees, under very limited circumstances), who are Registered Members of the MAA and who are responsible for the practice of architecture that are identified as the principals of the authorized entity within the Register of Firms.
