Membership
- four Registered Members of the Association, who have at some time served a minimum of two years on Council or who have tenure at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Manitoba, appointed by Council for a four year term (with staggered terms and the appointment of one member each year); and
- the President of the Association as an ex-officio member.
Chair
- The Registered Member serving the final year of his/her term on the Board serves as the Chair of the Board.

Duties and
Responsibilities
- Review all applications for Registered Membership and
Certificates of Approval, and make recommendations to
Council.
- Review and approve all Employer and Mentor confirmations and all
Experience submissions
from the MAA Intern Program.
- Conduct qualifying examinations as
may be required by Council and/or the Board and to report
the results to Council.
- Ensure that the MAA Executive Director
maintains a file on each applicant for registration, including examination results and
other information as the Board may
direct.
