Council for Canadian Urbanism Summit in Winnipeg September 14-16  |  City Making Math: The Art and Science of Urban Design

This September, the Council for Canadian Urbanism will be hosting its ninth annual National Summit here in Winnipeg. This will be a great opportunity for our local design community to engage in the national discussion about design and city building. The topic this year is City Making Math – The Art and Science of Urban Design. Many of our sessions will address issues facing Winnipeg today.
The Council for Canadian Urbanism (CanU) is a movement and organization of city planners, urban designers, architects, landscape architects, engineers, developers and other urbanists operating across Canada, in urban design leadership positions within city governments and the private or community sectors.
CanU Summits are unique in Canada, multi-disciplinary, fun and interactive. Our annual event attracts many of the best city-building thinkers and doers from across the nation to engage in the dynamic discourse. We celebrate and challenge Canadian Urbanism through high-energy interconnected discussions/debates and interactive presentations covering national and local issues and best practices, hosted in unique venues across downtown. Our Summits truly do advance Canadian Urbanism as a movement. Join us and be a part of that advancement.
