Revisions and Erratas to National Codes

Although the Province of Manitoba has not adopted the latest editions of national codes, the MAA's Practice Committee has requested that MAA members be informed of the following information received from NRC:

The first series of revisions and errata have been issued for the following Codes Canada publications:

• National Building Code of Canada 2015
• National Fire Code of Canada 2015
• National Plumbing Code of Canada 2015
• National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings 2015
• National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings 2017

These revisions include updates to the referenced standards and documents. Other revisions address voice communications systems, the interconnection of smoke alarms, and the deletion of references to asbestos-containing materials.
