The MAA's Practice Committee has dealt with an issue that was brought to its attention by one of the local insurance brokers; and following due consideration, which included further investigation with the National Research Council Canada, it wishes to provide information and clarification to MAA members regarding the Canadian standards CAN/ULC-S102/S102.2 and the US standard ASTM E84.
