Consultation on Adoption of the 2025 National Model Codes

Please be advised that the Manitoba government has posted a consultation/public engagement regarding the proposed adoption of the 2025 edition of the National Model Codes (Building, Plumbing, Energy and Fire) published by the National Research Council, effective June 22, 2027.

The consultation/engagement is now open on the engagemb.ca website and can be accessed using the following links:

Public consultation runs for 30 days starting September 22, 2026, and ending October 23, 2026.
