Excellence on the Prairies: 2010 Prairie Design Awards

The Prairie Design Awards for Architecture and Interior Design is a tri-provincial initiative organized by the Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta Associations of Architects. This year's event was hosted and organized by The Saskatchewan Association of Architects. Fifty-nine submissions were received into the program in three categories: Recent Work, Interior Design and Small Projects. Regrettably, there were no submissions in the category of Student Work. Jurors from across Canada expressed their appreciation of the quality of work submitted. Awards of Excellence and Merit were presented in three categories.

Eligibility

Projects must be located in Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba to be eligible. Other than category 4, Unbuilt work submitted will NOT be adjudicated. Unbuilt work denotes work that is of a theoretical or conceptual nature that is not built or work for a client that has not yet reached the final stages of construction.

Architectural Submissions must be designed by Registered Members of the AAA, SAA and MAA.
