Application under the Mutual Reconition Agreements with the EU, UK, Australia and New Zealand

As the first step in the process:

• Establish your eligibility under the mutual recognition agreement (MRA) by way of the confirmation process defined under the appropriate MRA:
  • Canada - European Union (EU) Agreement
  • Canada - United Kingdom (ARB) Agreement
  • Australia, New Zealand, and Canada (APEC) Agreement

The completed application for registered membership must be attached with:

• A completed Declaration, confirming knowledge of local laws, conditions and practice requirements;
• Certificate/completion of eligibility for licensure (following completion of the first step); and
• An application fee of $367.50

Applicants will need to review the following documents:

• The Architects Act
• MAA By-Laws
• Code of Ethics
• Builders' Liens Act
• Manitoba Amendments to National Building Code of Canada
• Manitoba Amendments to National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings
• Manitoba Amendments to National Fire Code of Canada

Applicants will need to complete the following documents:
