Session: 4:30 - 6:30 pm

Managing the Health and Safety of a construction project site requires the stakeholders involved in the project to understand their responsibilities and have systems in place to ensure those responsibilities are being met. This session will provide a basic overview of what managing health and safety looks like on a construction project site and how the Architectural profession, within the role they play, can help promote a healthy and safe work environment.

REGISTRATION FOR THE SESSION WILL BE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.

Presenter: Daniel Olson
Daniel Olson is the Client Services Consultant for the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM). He is a graduate of the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate program at Red River College, a graduate of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Diploma program at the University of Fredericton and is currently working on a professional diploma in Integrated Disability Management at the University of Fredericton. Daniel facilitates all National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) courses at CSAM and assists their members in developing, establishing, and managing their Health and Safety Management Systems.
